combat idea?
Obviously there is the combat update that you have planned, but i was wondering about other things, personalization.
For example, right now we have swords and wooden shields.
what if, we had like, a metal shield? Increased success chance (Probably +1 over the wooden equivalent) AND increased combat timer since it's so heavy.
or set bonus daggers, like 10 seconds off of combat, but we are extremely volatile and will lose often. (Maybe even reduce exp because fail training)
I just dislike having wooden shields dad, i'm allergic to tree bark =[
Also, gem based shields, or even gem augmenting current equipment (This could be applied to all tools)

Cooking experience does not scale linearly
Previously, it has been raised in game that the cooking experiences are not linear according to cooking level exp. For instance, food with buff effects (e.g. bluegill sashimi, beast and birdie stew, cooked tiny fish chunk, strawberry treats) have exp/sec that are way higher than the foods produced around their level.
Subsequently, they were adjusted to that they scale linearly. However, with the recent update (5th Jan 2017), the exp for these food items have been readjusted back to the original values, which do not scale accordingly.
Is the latest readjustment of exp values intentional?

Missing baking recipes
This has been raised before in game, so I am just making it an official request. At this point in time, the manual does not capture recipes and effects of baked food. Also, there are several food preparation worded as "preparation to bake", but it is not shown in the manual on the follow up of the baking process per se. For example, prep fish to bake and prep baked apple.
Can future update capture these?

We've put in some into the manual. The manual is by no means complete but hopefully this will help until we're able to finish it up.

What happens when you drop stuff?
Pretty straightforward question. I have tried dropping stuff but wasn't sure if they disappear after a while, or they were picked up by another player. If they disappear after a while, how long will the items stay on ground?

they never disappear, so if they are gone, someone picked them up, which anyone can do in that particular city.

Expand Icon Disappeared
The expand icon has disappeared from my pop up screens. I have tried refreshing and also clearing cache to no avail.

Broken Dwarf Hammers not in marketplace
No place buys dwarf broken hammers, which are an area 2 trophy. I am not certain if the other area 2 trophies are in the market yet.

Login redirects to home page?
I had assumed that it was a lingering side effect of whatever broke the game recently, but I have been unable to log in as any attempt merely redirected back to the main page. Apparently, though, others have been able to log in successfully for days (side note: a "recent news" sidebar on the main page would help a lot with confusion is these sorts of circumstances), so I'm concerned that either something is being cached somewhere (although I've tried on multiple computers, so it would have to be something upstream), there is some sort of server bug, or I was mistakenly lumped in with whoever you thought broke the server and my IP is somehow blocked. (As a side note, I just realized that I haven't seen any email from the game, even in junk. Is it possible that something on the server had a problem with email addresses that include "+" characters? I think I used one (on gmail, it allows appending arbitrary text to an address while still receiving it on the same account; I find it very useful for automatically sorting mail into folders, and giving a unique address to each individual site makes it evident when a site accidentally or intentionally leaks it to spammers), and I've occasionally seen sites fail to send mail when given something of the sort. Is it possible, that much like those sites, a human saw it and thought "that does not look normal, better preemptively block it just in case it's some sort of attack", much like last names that legitimately include apostrophes on sites vulnerable to SQL injection, or unicode anywhere a programmer never thought outside of printable 7-bit US-ascii input?) (oops, I've rambled into a wall of text)

Unable to cast aura on others
Attempting to cast a level 5 aura on someone results in a "You don't have a high enough level in that aura to cast on others yet" error. Silkcom said a few days ago that this was a bug introduced with some unannounced fixes during a server reboot and will be fixed in the next update. Recording it here in case anyone has the same problem, and also as a reminder to fix it.
NeoAnderson's existing bug report appears different since it's older and a refresh fixed it for him.
