In the same vein - feathers don't have a use that I can find in the manual either.

So I actually think the biggest problem here (heh) is different definitions of 'playability'. Your idea of it and mine (ours? given many people in chat voiced similar things) are different. It's a different audience that this game is (generally) marketed to, and we/they want different things than you are asking for.

Your ideal is a game like BoL, RoA, or MQO - you basically stated this. These are games that you can dump as much premium currency as you want into extending how long the game will play itself before you have to touch it. These games are also number of action based rather than timer based. It's a different style of game, where there are individual actions in each skill, and you can do as many of these actions in your 30 minute period without worrying about a botcheck as you want (as opposed to mqo, where too many clicks around the ui will trigger a botcheck no matter what you are doing, and will log you out if you don't answer it).

I know the words pay to win got tossed around a lot, but it's not even that so much as essentially... botting the game, in a sense. There's nothing inherently wrong with wanting a game that does that but if that's what you want you may consider looking at the games that already exist in /that/ genre instead of this one, and seeing if you can find your ideal.

TL;DR I don't think you're /wrong/ necessarily, but I feel like you may be talking to the wrong audience, and that's where the disconnect is happening.

I only really support the change if it's offered as an option. the botchecks are nice as they are.

In a similar vein I'd really like to see some sort of simplistic clan-only forums where we can share information with each other without using outside resources to record it.

Like say I wanted to create a thread for people to post if they need something crafted by me, that sort of thing. It'd be helpful for tracking things inside of the clan, and in general.

So! Since there actually is a manual suggestion thread I'm going to semi-commadeer it along with Lorin here and help. Because I feel like bird's comment about preferring to make it so we don't need outside tools was to me (lol)

Some of these may exist already in the roadmap but... here I am.

1. Back button, like Yutiko said would be glorious.

2. Can... we have gear listings on the skill pages? Anything that can be worn that assists with the skill ideally

3. Can we also have food listings? Which foods will assist in what skill, what foods raise hp on the combat skill. etc.

4. Some kind of manual search. just something that I can put in a keyword and pull up items that match it.

5. Seconding almost everything in lorinthar's post. (though I don't have any issues with Lorin's #1. The rest, yeah. could be helpful) Though I feel like we may already have 11 as well.

6. I personally would also love some sort of a notepad feature in game. I'm not sure if it really fits in the 'manual' but. If that's a no, I'll survive. lol
