Apprentice mechanism: recruit a helper

rattamash 8 years ago updated by Lorinthar 8 years ago 2

There is always a balance that has to be reached for doing low level stuff a clan/building/recipe needs and stuff that gives the best exp/time. I was thinking there could be an apprentice type mechanism, where once you can an apprentice out to do low level actions in a skill based (based on your level in the skill). So if I was a fisher who wanted to do rainbow trout but my clan wanted crayfish, I could send my apprentice to do that. There could be a time penalty since they are slower. It could cost obols per hour, as if hiring them, or food, or a new building called apprentice quarters. Just an idea.

It would be like a NPC or harvester type thing from ava. Along those lines.

Fantastic idea! I'd prefer a new building or maybe food rather than obols, since the only way to get obols at present is via the marketplace and I don't want the game to turn into an economics simulator.
