Maintenance Page
Greetings,
My suggestion isn't so much for the game but more for convenience. What I propose is a "Under maintenance" redirect for whenever the game is getting updated for a longer period of time.
I'm not sure how many people like this, but I know for me at least getting a page instead of a server too slow to respond error, it at least shows that the game is stil around and being worked on.

I play a bunch of other games, and when the server goes down for whatever reason the people in other games inevitably comment "batteredshield died", "is batteredshield dead", etc. so having a server update of sorts would be great for not having the word dead associated with the game.
